Warning Poster

WATCH out Castor oil plant. It looks like spikey balls. It has purple leaves. It poisons the liver.

We have been learning to create posters. We have had to research a poisonous New Zealand Garden plant. We then had to find out the features of a warning poster. We have created posters to warn people about the dangers of some of our New Zealand plants.

My Holiday

Whanganui 

In my holidays we went to Whanganui. It was our first holiday. I was so excited my head almost came off!.

EFirst I went to Victoria Park with Mum and Kayla. We saw a lot of birds in a cage. I could smell their poop and I could see all of the detail on them. When we went out of the bird cage we went for a bush walk. We saw a lake with pukeko swimming in it and swans, geese and ducks. We went to a cafe for a snack. I had a caramel smoothie and a bit of lolly cake. It was delicious. All I could taste was delicious caramel and lolly cake and all I could smell was food. 

After that we went to 
 Kowhai Park it was sooooooooooo epic all I saw was fun obstacles and cool things to play on. There was even a castle and a pirate ship!!. We played hide and seek at the castle. There was a huge skate park. After that we went up Durie Hill Elevator Tower. When we were at the top I could see the Bell Tower and all of the houses. We also went through a huge tunnel, when I said “banana” the tunnel repeated it. It was funny. I had sushi for lunch it was delicious.

As we were driving home we stopped at K F C for dinner. It was so yum that I wanted more but… I was stuffed. When we finished dinner we went to a playground. Kayla and I had a go on the skate park with our scooters. It was extreme fun. After that we had to go to Aunty’s house for 5 or so minutes. I was very tired. Best holiday to Whanganui ever!!!.
